By using SurfAuddy you agree to these terms. Please read them — they explain what we provide, how billing works, and the limits of our service.

Section 01

Acceptance of these terms

SurfAuddy ("we", "us", the "Service") provides an AI-generated surf-coaching report from a video you upload. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Section 02

What the Service is

  • You upload a short surf clip and pick your board type.
  • We send the clip to an AI model (Google Gemini) and return a written report — strengths, weaknesses, fixes, and a practice drill — plus still-frame captures.
  • Your video is deleted immediately after analysis. We never store it.

Section 03

Accounts

  • Signing in is optional and uses Google OAuth. You may use a one-time free analysis without an account.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google login secure.
  • You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country (at least 16, or the age of majority where required).

Section 04

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful, harmful, or infringing.
  • Upload videos of other people without their consent.
  • Abuse, automate, scrape, or overload the Service, or circumvent usage limits (e.g. the free-tier quota).
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or misrepresent the Service.

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these rules.

Section 05

Plans, billing & payments

Merchant of Record

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. When you buy a plan or credits, your contract for that purchase is with Paddle, and Paddle handles billing, taxes, and receipts. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to the transaction.

Pro subscription

  • Billed on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly) and renews automatically until you cancel.
  • You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Prices are shown at checkout and may include tax depending on your location.

Credits

  • Credits are a one-time purchase, consumed one per successful analysis.
  • Credits expire 90 days after purchase.
  • Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.

Section 06

Your content & intellectual property

  • You keep all rights to the video you upload and to the report generated for you.
  • You grant us a temporary, limited license to process your video solely to generate your report. The video is deleted immediately afterward.
  • The Service itself — software, design, branding, and the "SurfAuddy" name — belongs to us and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Section 07

AI analysis disclaimer

The report is generated by an AI model and is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not professional coaching, medical, or safety advice, and it may contain errors or omissions. Surfing carries inherent risks. You are solely responsible for your own safety and decisions in the water. Always assess conditions yourself and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

Section 08

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the analysis will be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Section 09

Changes & termination

  • We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service.
  • We may revise these terms; we will post changes on this page with a new effective date.
  • You may stop using the Service at any time; you can delete saved reports from My Reports.

Section 10

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
